Early Education and Care

The decision to form a partnership with an Early Education and Care service can be incredibly complex; a decision that should be approached with careful consideration about what is best for your children, and your family unit as a whole. At Kindy Patch, our passionate teams understand the complex nature of this decision, and are here to support you and your family on your Early Education journey. Your Child is Our Priority.

Kindy Patch centres proudly boast a range of qualified, nurturing, dedicated and experienced staff. We understand that each child is unique and we celebrate the developmental journey that each child embarks on in the first five years of their life. Each day Bachelor qualified teachers are implementing the highest quality educational curricula that will support your child’s learning and development from birth to formal schooling, using the Early Years Learning Framework.

The Early Years Learning Framework was developed by the Council of Australian Governments to assist educators to provide young children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in learning (Belonging, being and becoming, The Early Years Learning Framework Australia, 2009).

All the Kindy Patch centres follow the Early Years Learning Framework and we ensure that each child gains the benefit of all five learning outcomes for children birth to school age:

  • Outcome One: Children have a strong sense of identity
  • Outcome Two: Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  • Outcome Three: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
  • Outcome Four: Children are confident and involved learners
  • Outcome Five: Children are effective communicators

These five learning outcomes are expansive and recognizable. Every child is unique and the learning outcomes allow for this to guide children in a variety of ways based on their capabilities and pace of learning. The curriculum is tailored to each child and is heavily influenced by the children’s interests.

Kindy Patch supports learning through play and instilling an enthusiasm for learning as well as intentional teaching through thoughtful, purposeful challenging experiences of children to nurture their high-level thinking ability.

We value and nurture the social, emotional and cognitive development of each child in our care, celebrating the uniqueness and individual contribution that every child makes to our educational, interest-based programs. At Kindy Patch we also value the vital role that quality early education plays when assisting children in making the transition to formal schooling. Our staff ensure that each child’s transition to School is a positive one; approached with confidence and social skills that will contribute to a lifelong love of learning.
